I see via Olive Press and the concerns about losing UK tv a company called mediastreamz www.mediastreamz.com are advertising a box for 99 euros and 19.99 subscription which states that lovefilm and netflix will be available via them.

It'll probably be similar to a VPN router then which will cost you next to nothing, the only "subscription" being to a VPN provider who hides your IP address and allows access to Netflix, iplayer etc

Still legal in Spain to download torrents for private use ... no charge, you can burn them to DVD if you want, and you get the latest releases!

No but you wouldn't need to use Netflix, you'd use a torrent file-sharing site.

This is true .... however I can just about stream with Netflix, whereas with my 2 mb connection it takes a long time to download torrents

Just my 2 cents, get a router for about 40 Euro and flash it with DD-WRT or Tomato or Merlin firmware and set it up with a UK VPN (I use Strong VPN which cost me 42 Euro for 12 months). Then connect a UK Xbox 360 or UK smart bluray player or a UK WDTV Live (I got one for 70 Euro). Most of these will have iPlayer, Netflix and other catch up TV apps.
