Losing will to live
#1
Hi, quite apart from being depressed about the weather I have a problem which I can't seem to deal with - I wondered if anyone could tell me what to do apart from setting fire to the computer that is.
I have downloaded VOIPSTUNT (similar to Skype etc) and I want to buy credit using my credit card or even using any of the other options, but the problem seems to be that my credit card is registered in the UK under my english address (I still have the house in UK). I have to state what telephone number I am using and that comes up as Spain. As a result of this anomaly it seems my credit card keeps getting rejected (and no, there definitely isn't any other sinister reason I do have the funds!!) I have tried to register with the other options but the same thing keeps happening. I could pay by pay pal but don't want to do that. I can't use my spanish debit card because there isn't an option to do so. What have other people done - I'd be grateful if you would let me know. I don't want to use SKype because I'm not keen on the headphones which I'm sure you have to use don't you? I have tried to contact VOIP but it's hopeless. Would appreciate all suggestions.

I've got Skype and I just made sure who we call regularly has it also ... in that way we don't need any credit.

Gosh that was quick. I thought you did need headphones with Skype. I'll go and have a look at the other one you mentioned, but think maybe I will be banging my head against the same brick wall. Trouble is not everyone I know has downloaded skype or voip. Maybe I should just not worry about the other ones eh? I'll think on it. Thanks again. Gill

Thanks for the suggestions, it's getting a bit technical for a tecniphobe? like me - I've seen the skype web cams so maybe will have another closer look, but really would still prefer to be able to buy credit somehow. There must be a simple answer, are there any simple people (apart from myself) out there?
