Looking for Spanish classes in Torre del Mar / Caleta de Velez. Moderate beginner. Interested in conversation, not so much reading and writing.

Hi David, like yourself I am new to living in Spain and new to this forum. I currently use 'Duolingo', a 'free' on-line language course (many languages covered) and it is actually quite good
I am also discovering that the local community are very helpful, they tend to speak much better Englush than I do (currently) Spanish, however, when I go into any shop, bar, restaurant etc and use my smattering of 'tourist Espanol' they always understand what it is I am trying to ask for, they even give me 'new' words or phrases to use, everyday 'street language' rather than 'tutorial grammar' which is working out very well for me

Agree Duolingo very good. I've started class at The Alf in Frigiiana this week. A bit of essential grammar but mainly conversational Spanish. Very impressed so far.
