Default Looking for hedge trimmer

Looking on Amazon for a hedge trimmer. On the UK site I see the type I'm looking for, but on the Spanish site when searching for motosierra it just seems to show the chainsaw type which is what I don't want.
Anyone know please the Spanish description of the type I'm looking for?
Here ¡s a picture of the type I'm searching for.
Thanks.

It's called a "cortasetos" (hedge cutter).

Thanks very much for the responses. Much appreciated. Little wonder I couldn't find one using the wrong title for the item. And thanks also Rosemary for the link.

A friend has recently purchased a GTech cordless trimmer / cutter.

He had it delivered to Spain and is very pleased with it. Battery life he says is excellent.

Thanks for that. Think I've found one on Amazon Spain, but hadn't thought of the GTech models although I've seen them advertised. Will take a look. Thanks again.

Just looked at a video of one model on the Gtech site which seems ideal. Unfortunately, Gtech don't send to Spain and although it's on the Amazon UK site, neither do they!
Can you tell me please who was the supplier who shipped to Spain?
Thanks.

You realise that if you get one sent to Spain it will effectively have no warranty as getting it sent for repair, or even replacement, is likely more trouble than the machine is worth.

You're correct of course and it's something l'll have to take into account when deciding. Although over the years, I've had quite a few items, some pricey, delivered to me here as I couldn't get them in Spain. A chance I've taken as a "downside" of being away from the UK.
Thanks for the advice though.

I've seen them advertised on TV too including the vac. They look very plasticky and cheap yet are a very high price for the build quality.

Best to ask around for numerous comments/reviews on this newcomer brand before parting with your cash.

I have the one that Rosemary linked to. Excellent, like most Bosch products.

I also use a number of Bosch cordless devices which are great, but battery life is, inevitably limited, especially on high powered devices such as a hedge trimmer which would normally use 500w or so. For very light cutting it might be OK but for any heavy cutting a mains unit would be better.

Amazon Spain have loads to choose from. Incidentally, if you have stuff shipped from the UK to Europe from a major manufacturer they will be covered by warranty anywhere in Europe. That said, I find I can usually source anything in Spain, often much cheaper than buying from the UK.

I agree, cordless tools can be very convenient, but have their drawbacks, especially in high-power tools. If you only have a few meters of hedge, say up to 5m, a cordless trimmer mighf be sufficient, but for the effort of unwinding an extension cord every 2-3 weeks, I'd take the one with the power cord. Well actually, as I live in the US, I'd take a petrol powered one. You can't have too many petrol powered toys. I think I currently have ten.

That is my impression of their vacs as well (only from the adds & a "few" reviews)
Like Dyson (IMO) overpriced plastic tat but loved by so many ?

Thanks for the very helpful responses. More thought needed I think! I favour a cordless, because of its convenience and not requiring to have a mains lead around me when cutting, but as has been mentioned, inevitably these won't have either the cutting time or power. The cutting time is less of an issue for me as anything that means I have to stop working to wait for a re-charge can only be a plus!
Forgot to mention I absolutely hate anything gardening connected, so even the thought of buying something like a cutter is not a purchase of choice but better than the alternative of cutting manually I think!
Thanks again to all.

Thanks Fred, but often I find products on Amazon UK but not on the Spain one. An example is a Bosch cordless hedge trimmer which is well priced and reviewed on the Amazon UK site, but not available on the Spanish one although they will ship to Spain.
