Hi everyone,

I'm new here, but am in the process of (hopefully!) buying a house in the Gibraleon area and just wondered if any of you happened to live nearby? I'd really appreciate any advice about social life, getting to meet people etc etc from anyone in the area (and would love to meet up), plus will be looking for a babysitter as soon as we get over!! (we have 3 girls aged 4, 3 and 1)...

Welcome. Just got myself a babysitter after far too long procrastinating & we're thoroughly enjoying newfound freedom!
Don't know where Gibraleon is, but good luck finding someone. I'd strongly recommend getting someone Spanish because unless you or OH are native Spanish speakers, there's nothing like getting Spanish spoken in the home to your little ones, about everyday things, in everyday language.
ps I pay €8 ph, which seems a lot, but I didn't quibble because she's good & came recommended!

Thanks for that - should probably have specified Gibraleon (Huelva)... don't know if I can change the title line now!! Never mind! :-)

I currently live in Italy and had been paying 7 euros an hour, so that sounds about right to me..
