Looking for advice on how to sell UK campervan in Costa del Sol
Hello,
I am looking for advice on how to sell my UK registered, 1993 Volkswagen T25 campervan in Costa del Sol or anywhere else in Spain. It seems very complicated and expensive to register the vehicle here in Spain and as I don't have use for it any longer I am reluctant to do so. If I don't sell it here, my only other option is to drive it back to the UK which I rather not do. Anybody out there able to give me some advice. Many Thanks

Our son sold his right hand drive Campervan (bought & registered in UK) when he moved to Spain, to live here permanently, although he used it here for several years. He sold it in the UK in the end because people there understand them better; also, if it's right hand drive then the chances of selling it in Spain for a good price are drastically reduced.

This is what the UK government say on exporting a car.

We don't know how long you have been registered as living in Spain. That does not matter as you don't have much time. Certainly not years. Take it back to the UK and sell it via one of those we buy cars businesses. You wont get as much as you may think it is worth. But selling it here is very hard. Values will also be very low as you have found out it is very hard to register a RHD camper van in Spain. If the transfer of ownership is not done correctly you could find yourself with a load more headaches.
Good luck.

If you register as a resident or spend longer than 6 months of the year in Spain, you must register your vehicle with the Spanish authorities and you may need to pay some taxes. Read the European Union’s guidance on in Spain.
Good luck.

Pretty much any vehicle will sell if the price is right. Check your local garages and ads in free papers.
Might want to place an ad in local press / shops. You may be lucky and find someone looking to return to UK.

Firstly how much in euros do you want for it; Secondly, there are people that could drive it back to the UK for you
