Lockdown Extended
#2

Good. I hope no second homers or holiday makers make it to our town nor to Costa Esuri. I also hope the residents of both do not come out to the parks and poolsides over Easter.

From Friday the GC were checking everyone coming off the motorway and Turning anyone without the right documentation and a valid reason back. Alongside them the local police were checking everyone coming out of Esuri. That is the only route into town all other roads are closed. There are drone patrols of the campo routes particularly the one behind Encinas. They will have to be very creative to get past the checks.

I hope you are all well.
John, took me a few seconds to work out you meant Guardia Civil rather than Golf Club
The drone patrol sounds kewl. What about the route down past the old Trimm Dich that goes up the river. That gets used quite a bit by the locals so difficult to work out whose who?
So none of the Madrid contingent are in the Block (eg the one on the top floor above you Captains W?

Reptonian I think you have an advantage over me, I don't think I know you ? forgive me if I should. I have not seen the family 2 up since Feb/March I think it was.

The GC have turned the odd family away I think it was on Lomas. Somebody must have reported them. Bill and me were on Encinas the wkend before the lockdown became firm but after the school closures were announced. He pointed out some parking places allocated to the block where part is used as an aparthotel which had filled up between Friday and Sunday evening full of Madrid registered cars.

The roadblocks are at the motorway so no entry to anywhere Ayamonte without valid reason.

The drones seem to be concentrating on the old campo route from Villa Blanca and the stone road over the hill and under the motorway from the pictures that have been published on Info Ayamonte.

Hi John. I am not sure you can see Albatros Golf .from your place. There are over 20 cars in there car park that were not there a week ago..There is only 1 Apartment being used full time. Just wondered how they arrived here unnoticed.. That means there could be up to fifty people in Esuri that should not be here..??

I will not be at all surprised if our infection numbers rise with the illegal movement of people. Irresponsible people annoy me. I hope somebody can report them and any others they know of that turn up !
