What a bird, this was taken yesterday in the next village of canillas del albaida. It has evaded capture so far.

I think from what has been said it is some type of vulture, they did say but have forgotten which type, hope it is caught soon, the local ranger has tried , he thinks it may be injured or something that is why it is so close to habitation. Hope it will be ok in the end, I don't like that on the loose when I am basking getting my sun tan back, god knows what it may mistake bits of me for!!!

Hi Matt,
OH has just said that he was told that it is a vulture that originates from etheopia, whether that is true or not I do not know. All I hope is that it has a happy ending. It is rather huge.
