We have just finished watching BBC2s living in the sun. It featured an Italian restaurant in Flamenca Beach. It is an upmarket restaurant. The Italian chef seemed to really know his stuff. I don t know how old the programme is (it could be a couple of years ago). The food looked great and I just wondered if anyone has been there and what is it like.
Oops forgot the most important thing:
The restaurant is called Leonardo

We were eating at another restaurant there about 6 weeks ago and spoke to a couple who had just come from there. They said it was the best steak they had ever had and would definitely return, not yet tried it ourselves.

Well , if this write up in the Leader is anything to go by, Leonardos' got off to a promising start in 2006, so hopefully the reason they're still there is because they've kept that good standard up.

Ooh I'm not a great fan of Mulberrys' tbh Sue. I think it's over rated for a fairly mediocre british menu.
I think that due often to the poor standard of food in many restaurants in the area that a restaurant such as Mulberrys' who's menu is fairly representative of pleasant little tea rooms in the UK get critique which is blown out of all proportion to the actuality of the menu and or service!
I know lots of people like it, but I wouldn't fall down the hill to it in a hurry, lol

Only ever had snacks there but thoroughly enjoyed them - but at another place (El Raso) which also has a restaurant of a similar name here in Quesada have had to send food back twice for not being cooked properly. Highly embarassing when you have people with you!
