Prices for broadband are a lot more expensive than you will be used to paying in the UK, and speeds a lot slower (except in the largest cities like Madrid and Barcelona). I don't have a landline at home so can't have ADSL, we have wifi from a mast with a small aerial on the roof - it costs €29 per month including IVA (VAT) for speeds advertised as up to 8mb (but we actually get nearer 6). Some rental properties may have internet access but I would guess not many.
