But this isn't Bradford or Bolton. If I walked into the Natwest branch at Lower Sodbury-under-Thistledale speaking Polish, I doubt I'd get very far.
By the way what is Spanish for computer? |

Maybe not in the branch. But they'd probably pass you a phone to speak to someone in their customer relations that did - it's called service.

Re: Listen up, stupid!
All the staff in our bank speak very good English, not only does it put us to shame but it tends to make us lazy as well. We start of with every intention to speak only Spanish but half way through lapse into English. The young cashier even apoligises for her bad English:blink: We leave hanging our head in shame:o they are such lovely girls and are very patient with us. Trouble is they are patient with everyone and it usually takes about an hour each time we go there:huh:

Anyway, service is... ...having your bank in every small town / village, regardless of the implications on profit / shareholders. ...being able to transfer money between banks quickly and cheaply. Not being able to speak English is hardly a hardship... there are far more Dutch around here than English anyway, we're in the minority :)
