My hubby is a general builder so cannot prove that he does one specific trade for 20 hours per week for the last 2 years - but hey im not bitter :unsure: - we will get there one day.

Guess I'm like a few others here, thought you were already living in Spain.

If I had a year to do nothing, I'd be losing myself in castilla la mancha. Or maybe at a push Castilla Leon.

I think it takes a lot of courage to do what you're doing, good luck with it all, sounds like you're gonna have a blast!

Well, I'm obviously slow on the uptake, because I've only just seen this thread.
I'm really sorry to hear that you've had a rough week, but am thrilled that you've got an adventure to look forward to :thumbsup:
I reckon we probably learn of something almost daily, that makes us appreciate how very short life is.
That's why we came here when we did, and we are making the most of every single day ;)

We can't offer you any accommodation at this point in time, I'm afraid - but you're more than welcome to call in and see us, if you're coming this way to get to Jerez??

we are seriously considering it. A van, one that I would be happy with will cost us £9000, a place to rent will cost about the same over a year.......do the maths!!


My sis is buying a couple of places in Sitges so we have a semi perm base there.
