Any ideas on life assurance companies in Spain, good ones, bad ones etc. We are looking to buy life assurance for the wife and me.

Can't actually recommend a company on the basis of performance or claims, but in my experience going to a local Spanish agent/outlet will give you better cover, prices etc., than going with a 'big English speaking' one. We got significantly improved cover plus courtesy car etc., for the same money we'd been paying for our car insurance and were quoted quite a bit less for life and home insurances despite ageing 5 years and admitting OH smoked, we're overweight, etc etc!!!!! Just shop around, basically.....

No, because I took the advice of the broker who checked online while I sat there. She had my old policy so was able to compare and then show me as well.
