THis is biased information as they are trying to sell their financial services but it is hard to call if you should move money from Sterling into the Euro given the way it could collapse later on. SPending power of the pound at 1,25 to the Euro feels about right to me, though.

It's almost certainly a Yank publication, they use "math".

I rather like some of their spelling though. Why should ax have an e on the end?

Well if we are going to do that then why should we bother to distinguish between "there" and "their"? Why not write the word "mate" as "M8"?

Because their, there and they're all mean different things whereas ax and axe are just different spellings. I'd go along with color as well and plow and sulfur.

Ok, why not "troff" instead of "Trough"? I mean why bother with any spelling at all? Ax is an American spelling of Axe, I'd rather not adopt American spellings thanks.

Spelling them differently is done so that similar sounding words having different meanings, can be understood and placed in the correct context within a sentence. There now, do you get that?
Perhaps you don't read much, so it's of no consequence.
