Create a document with all the Spanish special characters in: à á É é à ó ú ü ñ ¿ ¡ Make them nice and big à á É é à ó ú ü ñ ¿ ¡ Create a shortcut to the document. When you need a letter click on the shortcut, copy your letter and paste it to where you want it. There's probably a better way... |

Re: Learning Spanish - Great Website
Do you have English or Spanish keyboard?
If English keyboard, try this site http://symbolcodes.tlt.psu.edu/accents/codealt.html If Spanish keyboard the accent key is next to the Ñ so if you want an e with an accent you press that key first and then the e and you get é. Rosemary |
Re: Learning Spanish - Great Website
There are lots of ways of using an English keyboard to write in Spanish, all the usual alt 164 etc, but for me if you intend writing a lot in Spanish, simply install a Spanish keyboard. It'll take a minute to install, a while to learn where everything is on a Spanish keyboard, but once used to it, it's easy peasy! Control Panel, Clock, Language and region, Change keyboards and add your chosen language. A simply "Alt, Shift" click takes you from English to Spanish keyboard and vice versa. Sounds a lot more complicated than it is, and once used to it, it's second nature, I would never bother faffing around with other methods. Obviously if you don't use Spanish much, the occasional "alt 164" might do you. ;)

Re: Learning Spanish - Great Website
We have free Spanish classes in our town 4pm-6 each every Tuesday & Thursday. Not brilliant but at least by turning up it makes us do it, which is usually the problem, getting started. Never knew retirement made you so busy!
