Just a bit of info..the British Embassy in Malaga can advise about english speaking lawyers..They had a quite a few in various areas. The Spanish Desk at the Foreign office in London can also give information and advice. You will have to find your own phone numbers as it is a while since I spoke to them.

The British Consulate in Malaga has a list of Lawyers in CADIZ. I just received by email the latest list on one page of WORD DOC.

The names are;

Sr. D. Juan Manuel Perez Dorao - in Cadiz itself (www.bufetecanalejas.com)

Sr. D Bernardo Ruiz Lima - in Cadiz

Sr. D. Jose Igancio de Anfres Delgado - Algeciras

Sr. D. Santiago Yerga Cobos - in Jerez de la Frontera

Da. Nuria Sanchez Chapela - in El Puerto de Santa Maria

Each one would specialise in particular aspects of the law and not necessarily in property law but I suppose they could be a good start for anyone looking.

Thanks Nige...I wasn't sure if it was an Embassy or Consulate....remember them being helpful, but at the time I was looking for one in Jerez.

If anyone is interested, I have an up to date list of English speaking lawers in Alicante region, supplied by the consulate. I will post the list if a number of people ask.

MP Solicitors in Ayamonte, Huelva are great. They have sorted everything out for me and I have sent a couple of friends there as well. They all speak English and also have English staff. Hope this is helpful?
