Cowboy builders.
Anybody follow this program please?
When they are looking for furniture or other items such as bathrooms etc etc with no money, the shop owners always seem to say "OK no Problem" and they don't get any advertising to talk of and the goods are freely given.
I would like to know in particular where they haven't been yet so that I might try it out.
Even better, do you think it would work in Spain as easily?

You don't think having their logo in every other shot, their names at the end of each episode and the fact that they have been seen by a couple of million people to have helped out as decent enough advertising? I think you are underestimating the power of TV to get the message that you are a "Good, Honest, Reliable Company" beamed direct into every living room it can...

That's just it, they don't get quite as much as you are saying.

I watched last nights, with Kewells missus on it, and not only did the bloody pump truck have about as much advertising as you could get but each business office she went into had their logos quite proudly displayed and at the end of the program was a clear not on the credits to all the suppliers stating that they couldn't have done it without them.... listing all of them.....

Well just watched this program like a hawk, it was on channel Five 15 mins ago, the builder was hitting the Asian community, Not one logo or name anywhere except about 4 seconds in the credits. The power of advertising must be great, I had a job to see it when looking for it.

You should thank me for attempting to make you look clever, since you can't resist.

The program is there for all to see.

Yes dear, you're right, you're always right. I mean its just odd that the program has done so many series, so many helps, so many things... I mean take DIY SOS for example, they don't get the chance to advertise at all since its on the BBC... if only you ran the TV networks eh? If only.

It doesn't take much to draw you out either

I think everyone knows why they get the stuff free, without having to rely on you and your superior knowledge.
