Hi
Thinking of relocating to Lanzarote, was told to post in Spain forum.
Just after any advice really, tried googling but not getting much. Is anyone on here already moved to Lanzarote?

Hi and a warm welcome to the Spanish forum on BE. Myself and Fred James are the moderators for the Spanish forums whilst BEVS moderates Europe. Moderators are there to ensure that the site runs smoothly within the rules of BE. This is so that members gain the information that they are looking for and find their experiences on the forums to be friendly and worthwhile.
Problems and complaints should always be addressed to a moderator who will look into the matter and deal with it efficiently and fairly. Our members who post in the Spain Forums are usually friendly and helpful with a wealth of knowledge about the issues of living in Spain. I hope that you enjoy your time participating in the forums.
Please let me know if you need any further help.

Life is good here if you have an income, if you are looking for work it is a different matter, we have 40% unemployed here, so job prospects are poor. Many businesses have closed and along with many young people they have moved elsewhere.
I would suggest that at first you rent, then if your first destination doesn't live up to your expectations, you can move elsewhere.
Learn the language and you will find that it will open so many doors, Canary islanders really appreciate those that try to integrate.
Good luck with your venture.

Is there any jobsites I can look at? I'm going back in a couple of weeks to look at schools and job prospects.
