I am sorry Derbyflan if you read this but I was just watching the Real Madrid - Villareal match, and must say it was brilliant, I had my nerves shredded last season with the ongoing battle between Real Madrid and Barcelona and they have started in true form this year again, brill!! Must add that I support RM but have a lot of respect for Barca. Anyway getting back to derbyflan, near the end while discussing things as the commentators do they happened to mention that Billy someone had once shown the team he was manager for a video of Real Madrid and told them that was how he wanted his team to play, they then said that maybe the manager for Derby may just need to do that now after their previous result against Liverpool. Sorry don't mean to rub nose in it!!

Hiya Eve,
I've just got back from the village bar, where I've been watching the same match.
Nearly everyone here supports Real Madrid, so the atmosphere is always really good (the only downside of going to the bar, is coming home stinking of cigarettes!
)
It was a great game, wasn't it?
A bit scrappy in the first half; lots of fouls and giving away possession by both teams - but the second half more than made up for it.
I'm a Liverpool fan, so yesterday was a great day for me (added to the fact that Chelski were beaten today too
)
The young lad who works behind the bar is an absolute Real Madrid fanatic, so I shouted to him "Hey Manu, one more goal and you'll be as good as Liverpool!!"
See, I'm even becoming Spanish in that I'll shout across a crowded bar now
All the stats were coming up on the screen saying that Villareal hadn't lost a home game since April '06, and the last time they were beaten at home by 4 goals was in 2005 (that was obviously before they conceded the 5th!!)
They were certainly outplayed tonight!
It's nice to have a few people to talk footie with
