BE is a very large expat website, so if you have problems finding your way around we have concierges who will try to direct you. The moderators for the Spanish forums are Mitzyboy and Fred James, moderators are there to ensure that the site runs smoothly within the rules of BE. Problems and complaints should always be addressed to a moderador who will look into the matter and deal with it efficiently and fairly. Our members who post in the Spain Forums are friendly and helpful with a wealth of knowledge of the issues of living in Spain. At the top of the page you will find a quirkily named thread called Free Beer which is full of important and useful information. Hope you enjoy your time participating in the forums.
Please let me know if you need any further help.

Hi, if you have any joy with this please could you let me know where the classes are, we're due to move in April with 2 aspiring ballerina's and if we could find somewhere in Spain that would be great.

In all seriousness, there are plenty of private dance groups run by Spaniards and Brits on the CDS. However, the best ones are the "conservatorios de musica y danza". These are municiple and are the places where you can do the official qualifications and eventually even train to be a professional.
A friend of my OH went to one to learn to be an opera singer and now works professionally in Italy
I have no idea from what age someone can start and what the entrance criteria and costs are though

I know there were classes here (Ontinyent) but that was last year and I don't know if the crisis has affected them.
I know that a lot of this kind of thing have stopped as many people simply can't afford the 'little extras'.

OK, if you walk down the paseo in Oliva from where mercadonna is towards the SOL Bank, but on the opposite side of the paseo, off one of the two last streets running up to the N332 is a dance school. Of course I cant say if they include ballet, but there is one there, on the right as you walk up
