A lot of our local venta's sell gas both the orange and silver ones so I don't have a problem myself coz it's a blue job in our house, I know there is a lorry that comes round but in 6 years I have seen it, have heard the bell sometimes but by the time I shake the old man and get him up the drive and open the gate it's gone.

i would assume you're having a tongue in cheek response to my original post with this comment. if not, if youre in leicester, how would you know if there is gas 'all over the place' near me? i find it particularly annoying to have to visit, sometimes, 6 garages to find a gas bottle to heat my living room. you may find that an interesting twist to the day - i find it a waste of some 2 hours when i should be trying to work.....

but on a brighter note, it's not so cold this week, so maybe this bottle will last the duration
