To save you time, have you actually run a search within the forum ref jobseeking/jobs/employment/unemployment etc? It might help. Secondly, how well do you speak Spanish?

BE is a very large expat website, so if you have problems finding your way around we have concierges who will try to direct you. The moderators for the Spanish forums are Mitzyboy and Fred James, moderators are there to ensure that the site runs smoothly within the rules of BE. Problems and complaints should always be addressed to a moderador who will look into the matter and deal with it efficiently and fairly. Our members who post in the Spain Forums are friendly and helpful with a wealth of knowledge of the issues of living in Spain. At the top of the page you will find a quirkily named thread called Free Beer which is full of important and useful information. Hope you enjoy your time participating in the forums.
Please let me know if you need any further help.

Fluent or not, there arent many jobs, altho there maybe odds and ends around, but not permanent or financially reliable. You could just come over and see if you can get anything before your money runs out - a long holiday/search!???

At 19, I don't see how you can have a "lot of experience"? If you are willing and able you should be able to find work during the summer on the costas. You are likely to be laid off after the summer season.

Re: Jobs in Spain
If you want to have a bit of a giggle there are bars in an area called 24 hour square that employ lads and girls to get people into their bars. It can lead into other work depending on how enthusiastic and likeable you are. The wages aren't great at first so I would suggest you rent with a couple of friends or someone who is already living here. Don't worry about speaking spanish as most of the clients are british and the spanish speak english Give it a go, it's better than the uk by a fat mile.
Most of that sort of work is commission only tho - but if you're good and there are a lot of people around..........

The pools of puke on the streets where the "marcha" is, tells the whole story.
