Job Interview tomorrow.....

Job Interview tomorrow.....
.....for my two teenage sons in a new Spanish restaurant/club opening next month in town!
They've got some bar/waiter jobs going and they're interested in having a try.
I'm the interpreter....hope to god they give them jobs....and not me!
Anybody know if Spanish businesses are expected to take on a certain percentage of foreigners in their workforce? Or are they offered any incentives to do it?
Cos I only registered them 2 days ago, they speak very little Spanish, and yet they got interviews immediately.

Can't help you XTreme but I hope they get the jobs, their Spanish will improve in no time.

Re: Job Interview tomorrow.....
Just to follow up on this.....my phone rang 30 mins ago, and it was the owner of the restaurant.
He said "Are you sure your son speaks English?".....I said "It's the only bloody language he can speak".
So he said "OK....he's got the job! But we're refitting the restaurant so I need him NOW".
Sharp exit by me and just dropped my boy off there now!
As far as I know he's the only Brit in the area employed by a Spanish company....and all because he can speak English.

Re: Job Interview tomorrow.....
Thanks both!
As for which one....it was better for the older one to do it really. He's 19 and probably deals with people a bit better than the 16 year old.
Plus he's the one who actually needs to get out and socialise a bit.
So fingers crossed everything goes OK!

They can do bits Jules....the youngest one is particularly good with graphics. But they don't have the knowledge to do something in that area for a living.
Of course, that never stopped other Brits I know!
