Hi I have booked a return flight with jet2 for my wife using the Electron Visa Debit card, all went OK. Now I am trying to book myself on the same outgoing flight but without a return flight and after trawling through the lengthy booking process I finally get the message "Duplicate user". I have cleared the cookies and tried four other different credit cards with out success. I feel loathed to ring them up on their 90p a minute phone line and no email address is given.
Any ideas ?

I would double check what name is on the booking form to make sure that you have put Mrs. not Mr, you may have booked for yourself and not her! If all correct, then try getting your wife to book for you using her bank/credit card and see what happens.

Just put in jet2, it throws up a load of numbers at normal rate.

Update on the booking process with jet2.The names and MR and Mrs were correct, also female and male forenames were correct.Tried using my wifes credit card got the same answer--Duplicate user. So after much fannying about I tried another of my email address and hi presto I could book on the same flight as my wife! For my return flight on a different date to my wife I joined the Myjet2 club and put in the first email address in my profile and then continued to make my booking by login in first.
Hope that this helps anyone else who may encounter the same problem.
As for the phone numbers only the 90p per minute is available at the weekend. Strange that you have to pay someone 90p per minute to buy something off them and even worse that a company that only sells online doesn't have a email address that you can contact them on.

well at least you are travelling now Stuart, sounds like O'Leary is spending his weekends "helping out",
as to the other bits, isnt that in contravention of the Distance Selling Act or whatever it is.
perhaps one of our legal people can tell us..................
