Yikes! I cannot actually believe that I am posting this, we are coming over to Javea! 23rd July for a recce with the intentions of moving there before the end of this year if all goes well. I'm so excited but at the same time nervous and scared of the unknown!
I have found a smashing website full of useful information - javeamigos.com | SHARING A PASSION FOR JAVEA but would like to know of the best areas in Javea to look at for buying, we have a 12 year old son and have to put his needs for schooling and friends as a top priority as I know this is going to be a big move for him. Tosalet and Montgo pop up a lot as nice areas with easy access to all amenities etc. Any advice would be greatly appreciated please. We do not want somewhere that looks lovely and then find that we can hear loud music in the summer months throughout the night from discos or bars! That would be one of my worse nightmares!
If anyone has any schooling information I would also appreciate any info! We are looking at LAUDE because of his age and British schooling background. Has anyone got any ideas of the class sizes or number of pupils attending the senior school there please? Also getting to and from school how easy or hard is the journey?
And lastly, other than needing as much help and information as possible and being reassured that we are doing the right thing. Is there anyone available to meet up during 23rd July 28th July as I would love to chat to any local ladies that actually live there and speak English please as so far my Spanish is none-existent sadly!
Really, really excited about our impending new adventure! And I really do look forward to any feedback at all please or hearing from someone who has already made this move and what life is like. Many thanks
From someone who is really really happy, excited, nervous and scared! How can you have so many emotions going on all at once!
