Dean and Sarah is an unknown quantity at this point
Default Javea and Moraira long term rentals

Hi everybody! My name is Dean and my Partners name is Sarah.

We are a young couple of 26 & 34 looking to move out to Spain from England. I work away and Sarah is a Pharmacist. We want to rent initially for 12 months to see if we like the way of life over in Spain and we have narrowed our search down to Javea or Moraira. Does anybody have any good letting agencies I can get in contact with regarding long term rentals? All I seem to find online is holiday rentals or winter rentals. I am coming over on 3/7 to have a look about and would ideally like a shortlist of a few reputable letting agencies in the areas.

Also how easy would Sarah find it getting a job in a pharmacy? We don't speak Spanish but we are learning.

Thank you all in advance.

I have family in Moraira and it is very much retirement and holiday rental country.

This link to Moraira rentals may help

Property for rent within 5 kilometres radius of Moraira, Alicante

I suspect if you rented for 6 months it would give you time to find work and longer term places to rent more from local source than expat source. Once you are in the community you will meet people whose local knowledge will be premium.

Can't speak for the Javea area but as Mike has said Moraira is very much holiday rentals so longer term are fewer and far between.
You will find them and most agents that do short term will do long term they are just much less and not at the front of minds or adds.

As far as jobs go its quite an affluent area so the chances are better than most but good Spanish would be a requirement for a pharmacist, any of the one's I've visited speak German as well so it won't be easy
