It´s beautiful here in Chiclana. Sun shining, a little bit cold but I can live with that to see the old sun again.

Yes, snow ..... Mrs Mitz is in a state of shock.
Thankfully it only lasted for about an hour and didn't settle, but thats the firstt time weve seen it here in over two years

Hi

I unfortunately have had to go to Toronto - we had another 20 cms of snow last night and tonight it is forecast to be minus 21C.
Now I know why I moved to Spain

Definitely had snow about half an hour ago, but VERY specific height.....we must be literally 50m below the 'snowline' - sleet at home, serious almost blizzard-like snow on the road into town!

really fine thanks, getting sorted, son into school he is enjoying it and settling well, they are even making special arrangements for him to continue with his Spanish even though they only do German and French at the school, they seem really approachable which put our minds at ease, he even had a new girlfriend on day 2 (these youngsters hey !!)

off to docs tomorrow for 1st appt to get the ball rolling and be referred to specialist

also had a look at a few rental places today

so we are getting there

well, we had snow on sunday evening, and a little of it is still on the pavements. Thats pretty unusual because the last few times it's snowed here, it's gone in a few hours, but it's certainly lingered this time.

It's going to be another cold one tonight. Clear and crisp by the feel of it.

Last night crisped the tips on some orange shoots, and cut the chirrimoya right back. That's firewood, as it just isn't tough enough for this area.

Airports , Roads , Train , Bus , Metro and Cars where all hit with the falling Snow off to day , this hasnt been see since 1977 . Snow was falling up just an hour ago . Snow is still falling in the north off communities Madrid . The airport of Barajas has resumed the operations of takeoff to the 16,40 hours The airport was out of action for five hours this afternoon, the first time ever it has been closed by the weather . Despite the re-opening early Friday evening at the time the only access possible currently to Barajas was by metro. There were 1,205 flights programmed Friday at Madrid . Long delays have reported at the airport of Barajas . As far as the railway transport, the RENFE has suspended the punctuality commitment that allows to rembolsar part or all the price of snow-covered tickets due to the intense ones, since the snow accumulation has forced to limit the speed of some trains. The Avant services between Madrid and Ciudad Real and Madrid and Toledo have limited their speed 160 kilometers per hour while the BIRD has reduced their speed to 200 kilometers

Rubalcaba blames to the prediction
