I'm finding my current box very sluggish. Am I right in thinking I'd be better off with a box having 2gb and 16 mb? Are there any experts out there who could recommend a decent box and is it available on Amazon? Many thanks

i use a cs918 box, its been ok so far, and ive had it a couple of years. if you are looking for the cheapest.. its like a phone.. better spec will always be better if you are going to use it.
I would go for 2/16 or 3/32 if possible. - mine is 2/8 i think, and ive got a 32 micro sd in it.
its surprising how much space apps take up.

I too use a C918 and have done so for quite a few years. I find it a great little box and better than some newer ones. I do also use a newer box on a different TV which is a 3/32 but I can't recall name of it that too is very good.

Hola
I use an Entertainment Box T8-V - not cheap but very good at reducing buffering. I've friends who have tried the cheap boxes and once they tried a decent box they don't go back. 2Gb of ram and 16Gb of onboard memory.
Apart from buying boxes from them I've no connection with the company https://www.entertainmentbox.com/

You don't have to buy a preloaded box, you can buy a basic android box with nothing loaded on it and set it up as you wish, just as you do with a computer tablet or phone. The choice is down to the individual what they use the box for. Many people have received prison sentences for what they have had on their computer but that doesn't make all computers or computer owners criminal
