Default INSS

Good evening tomorrow and after resolving padron then NIE and Residencia we go to INSS in Denia for our entry into the Spanish Health system.

Here we are informed is a check list.

1) S1's

2) Passports plus copies

3) Residencia plus copies

4) NIE plus copies

5) Statements to prove we are not dependent upon the Spanish system ie as in current bank statements plus investments UK wise and then P60's.

Should we also please take a copy of our Private Postal box number and our rental agreement.

Would appreciate any thoughts if we are missing anything?

best wishes

You won't need your NIE's if you have your certificate of registration (aka residencia) as your NIE's are formally on there.

You will also need the letter from Newcastle stating that you are not entitled to healthcare from UK.

surely not since they have S1s - the S1 is a contract between the two countries that the issuing country will pay for the healthcare of those named on the form

This am the most difficult situation was finding parking in Denia.

With the greatest of respect it was trouble free and we now have a nice letter to take to the Salut.

Now apart from the car and which is left hand drive from France is the last part of the jig-saw and of course if need a Spanish Driving LIcence. However our UK licence has just been renewed on reaching 70 years of age.

Sense of achievement and let us say 'legal' but when the guy went through all the forms and then the system went down some anxiety but in fairness not a problem.
