Nothing is easy is it! I am trying to buy a Dutch registered caravan which is currently in storage in Rosas, Northern Spain. I am, of course, a UK expat driving a Spanish registered car and want to tow the caravan back to Valencia (500km) where I will go through the importation and registration process for the van.
Now the question is how can I legally do this. I am receiving so many different opinions and answers that I am completely lost. The problem seems to be that in order to tow the caravan with a Spanish car I need to have the caravan registered in Spain and insured which I cannot do until I have got the caravan back to Alicante. If this is correct its the classic catch 22 situation. There must be an easy solution to this but I cannot find it.
If anybody definately knows how to do this I would be very grateful!
