Important Marmite news!
#1

You may already know this, but there's a chain called Dealz, part of the same group as Poundland, that sells good quality Marmite 250g glass pots for 3,50€. Compare this to the co-op near my Mum's house that sells the same for £3.50. They also sell Heinz Salad Cream, although I haven't seen Angel Delight.
You can locate their branches here: https://dealz.es/nuestras-tiendas/ Happy spreading

Same here, its the only place round here where we can get Mint and Horseraddish sauce. We keep a look out for the deals on teabags as they were on sale last week.
For baked beans (Heinz as I wont eat any other) the price has shot up a lot lately, €1.75 in Mercadonna and Mas Y Mas, but still 90c in Mendoza...
Other than those I don't really think we use much else that we can't get Spanish versions of,

Wow, horseradish as well as Marmite. A double whammy. Now that's interesting. Our nearest Dealz is Bilbao, 40km away, but will make a note.
I have some horseradish plants I bought some time ago to make sauce. Unfortunately you need the root, so finish up kiling the goose that lays the golden egg. Unless you're careful enough to break a piece off.
