Hello
and welcome
make sure you learn the language well as much as you can.
I think work is where you are really and what the expat community is like.

Hi
All new female members most post a full length photo before acceptance.
Really they must!!

PS
Unlike Samedifference's it doesn't need to be a "birthday suit" version.

We are working hard and getting nowhere or so it seems, and then when some one comes they say you have really done a lot LOL
Two flats done and our part the Salon and Kitchen and the out door spaces are finished, our bedroom has doors and windows and a new floor, needs the bathroom fitting, we have to do the guest bedroom and the shower and the loo on the veranda, and then the stairs and the tiles on the veranda, and then the outside and the other house the list just goes on and on LOL
How is your life going any nearer to the Sun
Its in the mid 70s here to day sunbathing weather

its no wonder you havent been on in ages - it will all be worth it when you have finished (thats what i keep telling myself with our house as well
) - the jobs seems never ending dont they.It sounds fantastic though - well done what an achievement.
We are going to Australia in January 2010 on a students visa and are hoping to gain PR after said amount of time - we have now realised that Spain will be too much of a risk for us - hubby is a builder and i work in a school - none of us speak the language and dont think we would ever be fluent enough to survive over there.
Your very lucky the weather here is atrocious - really bad gales in the night and not really any better today.
Well good luck, take care and enjoy the sunshine

I do miss work and the school atmosphere, but not all the paper work and the politics.
I worked with some Australian teachers they were fun people.
Australia and New Zealand we thought about but we have 6 kids between us and grand children to far for them to visit us.
We have picked up the language We are not fluent but we mangage and we have lesson each week given free by the local council. We had one today and I now know the verb to own and the verb to be in a place LOL, it was difficult
Well good luck with your plans
