I'm having an erection

Put up in the garden to cover the car. Its anodised metal, can you paint it?

Galvanised is usually hot zinc dipped carbon steel - anodised is aluminium thats been electrostatically coated to arrest the oxidation process.

Yep you can paint galvanised metal - any decent paint system for metal should be OK
