Re: IF?
Ahh well .... in for a penny
Oh and by the way your comment about not taking the thread seriously had me rolling on the floor mate :D You know me, I always go on about this area and how nice it is on the basis that your within easy reach of a real mix of areas. Trouble is I said this to someone on another forum and they just got back home after visiting saying how they didn't like it. Not "British" enough I think. Its very much down to individual needs isnt it at the end of the day. I'm guessing you are not someone who wants to be in a touristy area, so maybe somewhere further inland I don't know. What are your priorities .... give us a clue :) |

Re: IF?
If you're happy to integrate with the locals, then Inland is probably the way to go.
We live in a small village in Granada Province, which only has one other permenant British resident. We've integrated wonderfully over the last two years and everyone knows who we are and we know who everyone else is :) It suits us and has helped us with the language, has opened doors with work as locals get work from me and I get work from locals. Property prices are still resonable in Granada, Jaen and Cordoba. If you want to be surrounded by other Brits, there are the odd enclave or two around, but don't be surprised if the property prices are a little higher in those areas for obvious reasons. Best thing I can always advise is travel a little and you will always know the right location when you see it. |
