Default Ibiza

Are there any travellers that use the ferries from the mainland to Ibiza with a dog. I am taking my dog with me for the first time, passport sorted, but if I drive onto the ferry where can the dog travel. With me? or In the car?

Any idea folks?

Can't imagine any problem,..dont think they'll be worried about checking the passport,..you're not crossing any borders,..its only a short trip, and they generally don't bother anyway.
Probably be best in the car with the windows down a touch,as long as the cars not on the open deck in the sun.

Thanks, I suspect it's like that but you know how it is with the unknown in Spain.

700eu return,..crazy price.
What port are you sailing from,Mike?
I went across from Denia, the shortest crossing I think, so probably the cheapest,on an old bath-tub of a boat,a few year back.
Can't recall the exact price but it was fairly reasonable as I remember it.
Just drove up and drove on without booking, though it was not peak period.
Stayed there a while then hopped on a bit better boat up to Barca.
Presume you are saying that only one company does all the different crossings now?

Cheers Dick
We intend to cross from Denia. (it was rotor that quoted 700euro) One way is 2-300 & 3 companies seem to book all the ferries, that's not too bad I'm booking it anyway. I was trying to clarify where the dog had to travel in advance ie. car or deck, so we were prepared. Thanks for your interest
