My friend was paying a low electric bill for a few months until the did a reading and then he got a massive shock.

Ours was almost spot on, I don`t really know if I should of said that !
We usually pay around the 74€`s bi monthly.
We had a bill for one estimated 27.36€ other 53.48€, total 80.84€ .

Endesa have been ordered to pay back any money over charged to consumers see link. Maybe the same will happen to Iberdrola!!

Thats no use to me.im moving house next month so the new owners who move into my existing home will reap the benefits...wont they??

Ha ha...must be a low estimate then as we watch dvd's have music on every day and hubby and daughters fiance are rehearsing their stage acts most days using amplifiers. Also the pc is on every day. Although I do wait until the evening to use the washing machine

We tried for 2 years to get our meter read, crappy 3rd party involved, which we ditched we were only paying a standing charge, and just knew one day it would be read and we would get the 'real' bill. So many people said, arr don't worry about it lekky is cheap here.
Ha, we finnally got the bill, yes it was HUGE.... Good job we were ready for it
So be warned they do catch up eventually.
