I have had Iberdrola's 'Night Plan' since August 2019 and I have been very happy with the prices.
Now I have had an email from them telling me my contract will be renewed in February with an increase from 546€ to 798€ p.a.
I have been looking at their online site, and they offer a 'Plan Online' which seems very cheap and a better alternative - anybody recently analysed options?
Other companies are not an option, so please don't post on that subject thanks.

I've had a look at the plan for the 24 hour flat rate prices and it seems reasonable - a tiny amount more than I'm paying per kwh with another supplier but a tiny amount less per kw per day for the potencia charges so it wouldn't be worth me switching, but depends if it would save you money compared to the new price they've quoted for your existing contract.

I am in a small village so Iberdrola is our only (and safest) option. Yes, I think the 24-hour flat rate looks a good deal. Thanks.

For the cheapest Iberdrola plan, consider their Online Plan for a simple fixed rate, or the Online 3 Periods Plan if you can shift usage to off-peak hours (nights/weekends) to get much lower rates, while the Smart Saving Plan automatically discounts your 8 hours of peak use, but prices vary; always check their site for current promotional rates, as the "best" plan depends on your consumption habits and offers change.

Key Plans & When They're Cheapest:
- Online Plan: Offers one fixed price for 24 hours, great for those who don't want to track time slots.
- Online 3 Periods Plan: The most cost-effective if you use most energy during off-peak (valley) hours (0.096€/kWh), with higher costs during peak times (0.181€/kWh).
- Smart Saving Plan: Automatically applies lower rates to your 8 hours of highest daily usage, ideal if you can't manually shift consumption.
- More Savings Plan / Stable Plan: Offers fixed rates with discounts (e.g., 10-15% off energy term), good for price predictability.
