Does anyone know the IBAN indicator ES?? for CAM Bank, my branch is Polop de La Marina, Costa Blanca. I think I have all the details apart from the ES number. And SWift Code if poss? Strange request, sorry, I hope someone will be able to help me out cos its urgent! |

Sorry i cannot help - however my UK Bank Statements have the IBAN number on the side of the statements. It contains alot of letters and numbers - which not only name the bank but it also contains sort and account number within the IBAN number Katya |
Re: IBAN Numbers? Swift Codes?
My IBAN number with the Bank of Andalucia is ES42 followed by the normal bank and account codes.
I "guess" it is the same for everyone as the identity of the bank is the first 4 numbers of the normal code. Maybe someone with a different bank can confirm that theirs is also ES42 |
Re: IBAN Numbers? Swift Codes?

Re: IBAN Numbers? Swift Codes?
Halifax Hispania is ES07
Banesto for non-residents is ES20 and for residents ES15 so it's perhaps not that simple. But, as previously mentioned, they are usually printed on the statements. |

You dont have to put your bank details on invoices in the UK ,only your company reg number and VAT number, but it is common practice here,

Re: IBAN Numbers? Swift Codes?
A few months ago when the child benefit agency lost a disc containing the personal details of all it's claimants, Jeremy Clarkson wrote a newspaper article to the effect that people were worrying needlessly about their security.
He pointed out that details such as names addresses, dates of birth and bank account details could be found out by anyone who was interested either from a cheque or the electoral roll. To illustrate how unconcerned he was he then published his own details in the paper. A couple of weeks later he found that someone had used those details to set a standing order to a charity and £500 had already been paid out of his account  |
