"Take a life to save a life," he shrugged. "That's what we revolve around, I suppose. If there's people trying to do bad stuff to our guys, then we'll take them out of the game, I suppose."
Sounds a bit like Clint Eastwood.

Ah, so like we English go round with our nationality written across our foreheads do the Taliban have it written across their foreheads.
especially when a policeman or a soldier comes into the barracks and starts shooting indiscriminately.
thought that was the problem out there - our guys wear uniforms their guys don't so how do you know ??

I saw this on twitter today. Sadly I think it raises a rather sombre point. Harry has been badly served by his advisors, and could well be seen as "the enemy" by a section of the British population.
If a member of the Royal Family bragging about killing muslims in Afghanistan doesn't radicalise a few more kids I don't know what will.

Re: I Killed Taliban !
Up until this point, as far as I know, there have not been any Islamist extremist plots within the UK targeting the Royal Family. Indeed the vast majority of Muslim citizens, same as the rest of us, are law-abiding and have no truck with violent incidents. I can walk down the Edgware Road close to me (or in Asian areas in Leicester or Nottingham for that matter) and never feel a threat based on my religion. However, now there is a danger that hot-heads will feel justified in targeting the Royals, and it will be less easy for moderate voices to put them off.

Yes, whilst I'm not a big royalist (but happy to pay my 60p odd a year that it costs us) good to see him doing his bit! I'm sure he'd much rather be left alone to get on with his job than continually be pestered by TV crews etc, he obviously has no great love for the media. And of course he never actually said "I Killed Taliban"

I don't suppose he'll be one of the 5,200 personnel they are making redundant?

Re: I Killed Taliban !
who have no British history prior to 1947
who have no interest in monarchy
this is an "us and them" situation, if they don't like the fact that the second eldest of the queen's grandchildren is fighting alongside her subjects, proving that he can do a tough, arduous job not many people would even consider giving up their benefits for, well quite honestly they ought to use their other passport and go home

Irrespective of who he is, it hardly makes sense to spend millions training Apache aircrew and then make them redundant. My son is still in the RAF, but his trade is in demand and has missed all the cuts, so he won't be one of the 5,200 either. And he's far from royalty!
