When I last saw him he was giving Cherie one, but he stopped and told me his heart is still labour.

They have successful bussiness in Spain, so they are making hay while the sun shines and moving money back to the UK with their relatives, and transferring from euro into pounds.

As this is likely to continue for a long time, they are hoping Brown gets in and confidence is lost, the lower the pound falls, the better as far as they are concerned.

They dont know or care what the policies of the parties are, their vote is based on this one fact.

Talk about "selling out".:thumbdown::thumbdown:

Selling out?

Why is what they are doing selling out? They are simply in a position to make a bit of money out of a bad situation. In their shoes it is exactly what I would do, and I too want Labour to get in, if for other reasons.

So why are you criticising them?

None of the political parties gives a sh*it whether you or I live or die, thrive or fail, because in the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter what happens to the individual.

So, what is it that they are doing that is so wrong?

Be careful for what you wish for. According to the analysts, under this scenario Labour would end up with the largest number of seats (and the Lib Dems the fewest out of the big three parties). The Conservatives get hit harder by a large Lib Dem vote.

Well I was surprised to read on Daily Mail Online that the LIBDEMS have won the next election. Well almost. Actually as a lifelong Labour voter I'm quite pleased if it means that Gordon will still be Prime Minister as he might do all right with a little help from his friends in another party than his enemies in his own one. Nick might help him to speak another language so that he doesn't just have to shout louder to be understood. Mind you everything in the Daily Mail surprises me!

As we don't have your photograph I cannot comment on your mush but from the tone of your notes I can draw a pretty or not so pretty picture of it

The worse case scenario would be if the Lib Dems get in place, liberalism has taken enough of a hold in this bloody country as it is!

As with socialism, it rather depends on which definition of liberalism you use.
