Hello,

I was just wondering how does one become a moderator on this website?

It is not for me, but instead an idea for my retired father who needs to occupy a few hours everyday! He has an in-depth knowledge of Spain, having lived here for the last 20 years.

I look forward to hearing from someone.

you have to post about thinks and help people out here and in time you could get moderator stats here , just get you dad to post here

I would think that as well as a knowledge of Spain the most important would be an insight into the forum and it's members. Knowing when someone is posting tongue in cheek. Recognising spam etc. I wouldn't do that job for a pension (well perhaps for a pension )

Seriously though, you need to be a member for a while and if you are a nice cuddly teddybear you may get invited by the Admin to help out.
You do need to be streetwise and preferably have a punch bag at home to vent your anger on.
Tell him to join and get the feeling of posting, we always need info on all sorts of threads.

I got to be a moderator here once, but didn't have the time to carry on.
You should just get your dad to join and let people get to know him first
