How to be British
#1
Oh well, seeing on the news this morning that children in the UK are now going to receive lessons in Britishness and british culture, it poses the question ............ what is it that makes you British? What is Britishness?
As i'm anticipating that all the answers will be slightly different it poses the second question ...... who the hell has designed the lessons that will be taught to our kids on how to be british? Jeez ....... I hope it didn't come from the top

But travelling further afar gives many other Brit sides, the adventurous travellers in the Far East, Australia, South America - roughing it in the bush, eating local foods, integrating wiith the local culture.
And living here I mainly see Brit boaties and resort travellers - 2 very differnt speicies.
All I have to say is being british is far better than almost every Yank I've ever met here!! so thats something to be proud of!!

These should be very interesting Britishness classes based on whats being said here.
On a side note I wonder if other nationalities take the mickey out of themselves as much as we do
Is this Britshness?
