Default House Defects

My aunt sold her house last October to move in to the centre of town (Pizarra). The buyer has contacted her to say that the roof is leaking and that she has to pay for the repair or he will take legal action against her. Can he do this?

Cheers,

Dave.

I'm not sure, I think it is quite old and has had bits added over the years. She lived there for over 20 years.

If it’s that old the buyer should have had it surveyed for any problems. If not it’s his problem, unless he can prove he was deliberately misled. Caveat Emptor!
