Just wondering about whether the Spanish suppliers of meat have rigorous tests on their products. Whilst in Mercadona today my husband was looking at their own brand Lasagne it didn´t mention what kind of lasagne it was.
Personally I don´t buy ready meals but it does make you wonder where the actual meat is originally from.

You have to chuckle a bit (well I do) as its what else is in the processed food (?) that should be of concern IMO.

Are the Spanish as squeamish as us re horse meat? Lots in Europe are not.. Only view is if label says 100% beef then I expect to get beef. I have eaten horse before but knew what I was getting.

Personally I think all meat should be labelled on its origins.
