Hola chicos y chicas!
Hi everyone.
I moved to Lanzarote in September with my husband, Alan. We've set up business in Playa Blanca, and are absolutely loving it here.
I love forums, and post regularly in a number of them. However, this one was emailed to me today so here I am.
It would be great if anyone from here lives in lanzarote too, and says hi or gives me a little wave.

Hi Carol. Thanks for your hello. Where do you live then?
It was lovely here today... nice and warm (26/27 degrees). The temperature has dropped a little now - but I think it's because we're acclimatised that we notice it.
We're heading to the Uk on Sunday for a few days - and all our friends and family have been told to whack the heating up in preparation!

I'm in the UK and unlike Lanzarote (ooh! send us some warmth!) the temperature last night here was 1.5 degrees C. Thermals for certain!
Maybe someone from the islands will post a reply to your thread?
I've noticed there are not as many replies when others have posted from the Balearics. Why? (Shrugs shoulders...) Could it be "island mentality"? I've heard of "island fever", and know it to be true for my part when I lived in Hawaii as a teenager. All that sun and surf...Argh! When's the next boat? Get me off this island!!
Strangely enough, UK is an island. There must be something in it to add to the emigration debate...

Sorry I didn't reply before... we were in the Uk. But we're back now... and very happy about it too!
Our business is web design, printing and marketing. But I'm not sure how much I can say on here. I wouldn't wish to get into trouble for advertising
