Default HIGH telefonica bill in spain

i´ve been talking to a few people around here and it seems that their telephone bills are alot lower than ours is coming to. our last bill was 154 €, before that 156 €. we have friends that call the uk every day and night whose bill is only 80 € or something.

we are a family of three, we have dial up internet (33€ per two months), europa 15 (12€ per two months).

line rental is 20€ per two months..

i really cant see where the charges are coming from, anyone got any ideas ?

james.

Sounds a bit high James, but i dont use telefonica, only for line rental and BB.
We use telforce which is quite reasonable. I think it is British, cos people in the UK can use it also, for even better rates.

http://www.idealspain.com/Pages/Info...n/telforce.htm check it out.

You need to call Telefonica and have a chat about their calling plans. They have some good ones. I used Teleforce but found by bill higher with them so switched back to Telefonica. Since dereulgation there, lots of companies have set up with some very cheap plans, though the customer service is not always great.

I ended up using calling cards for overseas calls (I was calling the USA a lot) and they were astonishingly good value. Can't for the life of me remember the calling card company though.
