Well we are back in the UK but we had a nightmare journey back, the weather was awful 70mph winds whilst we were in France parked at the service station trying to sleep the van was rocking from side to side then we hit the fog then the rain it was dreadful, one of our dogs cried all the way home then we were 5 hours late for Eurotunnel but they let us on anyway We finally got to Southampton to drop the van off and load our furniture into another van from another company only to find the new van was smaller than the Luton we had hired in Spain so we had to leave half our stuff at a lock up at the depot then go back for it 3 days later,
and to top it all off our money form our bank in Spain still has not arrived into our UK account its only a month late so we are still chasing that.
But all in all we are really glad to be back and appreciate everything even the bad weather and council tax, we have our kids and friends around us again and all the local amenities within walking distance.
So we are in paradise, still looking for a job though.
But we would just like to say a big thank you for all the wonderful advice and help we received from you all and at least we tried it has to better than thinking if only, and if there is any advice we can give please contact us.

Oh it's been a lot warmer here since you went back.

Seriously, it was about 9 degrees on Tuesday and it felt like Spring, I can tell you!

To be honest the weather was one of the reasons we left we missed the seasons

Well then you timed it just right to enjoy the sub zero temperatures we've been having.

I think the weather is ok its just cold but if ya get wrapped up its alright, are we all living in different countries ?
And our quality of life is better now the grass is not always greener on the other side, plus we have those lovely things called central heating and carpets.

Its been bright blue skies for the last three days or so. Nice and sunny, gets cool at night of course but forcast for next few days 13 - 17 degrees
