Hi everyone,

Sorry, I'm sure you've all gone through this a million times before, but here we go again.

My Name is Alan, newbie to "British Expats", along with my wife Sue and Pickles the cat! If all goes well should be leaving shore within the next couple of months and shipping the family over to Spain. To be honest very new to this and it does all seem abit terrifying. If anyone has any inside info or knowledge on something I might need to know when making the big step... PLEASE help!

You say you are shipping the family to Spain, whereabouts? Have you bought a house, are you renting? We can only offer information if we know your situation...

Apologies for the vague post earlier. I am currently looking for a property so I suppose the first initial question would be. Can anyone recommend any property agents preferably ones that they've had experience with- names and numbers would be much appreciated!!

Are you really serious Al? Spain is a huge country, give us a clue, where in Spain do you want to move to? Which town exactly? What sort of property? In the countryside or in a town, on the coast or near the coast, in a village inland? Can't help unless we have a few guidelines to go on.
