have been with nice neighbour this evening - we reckon mrs nasty was trying to upset me cos she hadn't said a word to them (they rent too) - but did tell them who had complained when they asked her

anyway it's backfired now....mr nasty was shocked we'd found out, since as far as he's concerned there's no problem (he knows mrs nasty is stirring it, but not that she told us .......yet!;) I'm saving that:D)

anyway it's totally backfired, since I reckon I might have an 'in' at the 'owners meeting' now......representing all long term renters:rofl::rofl:

:ohmy:It's getting exciting now, can't wait for the next installment:thumbup:

we're not, we're host parents,,,,,it's been checked out legally & it is no way classed as subletting

we had students last year and no-one complained

someone who lives here (cuts it down to about 1 person!) but she won't tell who

is she just trying to piss me off?

hate to say it's working

Yep, been shearing sheep with a group of Kiwis, then sat in the pub with them since 8 with a group of Argies.

As the only Spanish/English speaker there I was a touch confused by the conversation!!

I can well believe that, my Spanish friend translates for me when we visit another Spanish family, can be really funny as Rosa will tell Pili in Spanish and then Pil will tell me in SPANISH:eek: I will say English Pili and she will say que!

Thankfully a couple of the Argies understand English, but there are still a hell of a lot of words that they don't understand.

I was absolutely knackered after 80 sheep as well!!

no, a shearing story.

next instalment..........

presidenta of the committee has phoned back...has confirmed with the community managing company that there have been no complaints - and went as far as to say that if anyone tries it at the meeting she will 'shoot them down in flames'

as long as we & our 'surrogate children' are not breaking any community rules as far as number of people in the property, noise & causing damage etc., then we have exactly the same rights as an owner (naturally they mustn't break the rules either)

of course we knew this.........good to have it confirmed though

and also when we told her who was complaining, we got another 'oh her!'

now, maybe I'll just get mrs nasty's hubby to pass on my thanks for the 'heads up' about the potential problem:sneaky:
