Workers who have mortgages to pay can now apply to pay less IRPF income tax at source under changes which apply for those who earn less than 33,000 € a year.
A discount of 2% on their income tax retention is available to those who ask for it from today in a measure which the Government hopes will help people spend money in the economic slow down. Details of the measure are available on the tax authority
